Sensory output greatly will diminish and destroy our concentration on any philosophical or introspective venture. We, who wish to explore these means behind the outward behavior, must find a line between simulating these thoughts and recording them. Unfortunately, possibly so God could spite us, thoughts and memories of thoughts are not things to be stored for the earliest convenience that we might be able to record them, and thus deduce further...It is my opinion that emotions also are a great inhibitor.
To explore the meaning behind the concept of a particular emotion or instance, we must look deeper to ones presuppositions, and yet deeper still to the strings that are possibilities. Those possibilities are lines of thought which we accept or reject. Why do we choose one string over another? Those are the emergent properties explored when we focus inwardly, away from petty distractions, to find the insights we wish. It is possible that while searching amongst all these strings, we find a piece that fits together into a wider puzzle.
We marvel at these instances, because we feel there is truth or wisdom to be gained, and rightly so. As a man thinks-- so is he. If you can understand, and do accept that, then you are rightly concerned as to what you think. It is an auspicious happenstance when one can explore the meaning behind our decisions and beliefs, and still record them later for future insight. I speak of this as if it was some remarkable thing, but personally, I am scarcely privy to it; so in my mind, it is quite rewarding and intellectually stimulating both to consider and consider later. This whole process is quite entertaining and hopefully, educational. I hope in the future some of these strings can be recorded. I shall try to remember...
The easiest to see is why we decide what we decide. The methods of influence are taken into consideration as a precursory explanation but peeking further we find forces at work. These forces I theorize are made up of basic human psychological factors and beliefs. They are inherent in every individual, but it is to my pleasure that I hold them in regard, whereas the majority seems content on only deducing cause-and-effect, generalities. I should not be so brass as to label this majority vulgar...though at times it seems tempting. It is a difficult thing considering human conditions, the mechanisms of any society, and psychological factors to deduce these supremely abstract concepts of emergent properties.
If the reader may excuse my seemingly huge botch of charlatanism, I think this is the quantum mechanics of intellectualism--being used to infer what nature is. These are methods of discovering truth, or at the least, means of tickling our preferences for the abstract. Humans are the creatures which are distinctly different because they are capable of thinking abstract to the excession that is symbology and language; science and literature. It is a shame that we lose ourselves in these trivialities, and the banalities of everyday life, that we do not explore the essence and full breath of our God-given intellects.
